AISJ Tuition Fees per Grade (2025-2026)
Below are the American International School of Johannesburg 2026 school fees per grade:
- Pre-Kindergarten (3–4 year olds): R186,200
- Elementary School (Kindergarten to Grade 5): R522,709
- Middle School (Grades 6 to 8): R610,774
- High School (Grades 9 to 10): R678,604
- High School (Grades 11 to 12): R703,494
These tuition fees do not include once-off payments and other fees explained below.
Application Fee and Holding Deposit
Before your child is even accepted, there are two main payments to be aware of:
- Application Fee:

This is a once-off non-refundable fee charged when you submit the application. - Holding Deposit:
R49,400
This amount secures your child’s spot and will be deducted from the tuition once they start. It is not refundable.
New Student Capital Fee
If your child is joining AISJ for the first time (from Kindergarten to Grade 12), you will need to pay a Capital Fee:
- R209,475
This is a once-off amount, required to be paid in full before the first day of school. It goes towards infrastructure and capital projects.
This fee is only refundable if you cancel within 30 days before the intended start date.
