What you'll need to upload
- Proof of identity: learner ID, birth certificate, or passport (with study or refugee permits for foreign nationals).
- The learner's last official school report card, if applicable.
- An immunisation card (Road to Health Chart), for primary schools.
- Proof of residence: a rates account, lease agreement, or official affidavit.
How to apply
Application steps
- Register or log in to the Western Cape Admissions Portal using a parent or guardian ID.
- Fill in the learner's profile and choose up to 10 school preferences, in order of choice.
- Upload certified digital copies of the required documents.
- Submit the application and save the generated SEAMUS number to track its status.
