If you made it this far, then chances are you are serious about becoming a nurse. Now let us get to the actual application process. Life College of Nursing does not use an online application form, so do not waste time searching for it.

Here is how the application process works:

Step 1: Choose Your Campus and Programme

Decide which campus you want to apply at, and which course you qualify for either the Diploma in Nursing (3 years) or Higher Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing (1 year). Not all campuses offer both. Double check with the campus first if you are not sure.

Step 2: Email the Campus Directly

Each campus handles its own intake. Send an email to the admin contact of that campus. Keep your message simple and direct. Say you are interested in applying for 2026 and ask if applications are open. Attach your Grade 12 results or latest school report if you already have it.

Example email subject: “2026 Application Enquiry – Diploma in Nursing”

Step 3: Wait for Feedback and Instructions

The campus will reply with their admission instructions. This may include:

  • Application form (PDF or Word)
  • A checklist of supporting documents
  • Submission deadline and method
  • Interview dates or entrance assessment info (if applicable)

Step 4: Submit All Documents Properly

You must include certified copies of the following:

  • Matric certificate or school report
  • South African ID
  • Proof of address
  • Any other documents they request
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered, so make sure everything is correct the first time.

Step 5: Prepare for Interview or Test

Some campuses might invite you to an interview or basic entry-level assessment. You do not need to stress about this, but be prepared. It is their way of checking that you are serious and ready for the demands of nursing.
