Step 1: Career Guidance Screening for Westcol 2026

Before you apply, you must complete the Career Guidance Exploration. This is designed to help you understand which course best suits your skills and interests.

  1. Go to the Westcol Registration Page
  2. Click on “First time here?” to create your profile.
  3. Complete everything in the “Pre-entry Information” folder.
    • Click every button
    • Complete all assessments honestly, even if you do not know some answers
    • Click “Finish” after each section
  4. Your screening report will help you choose the right course

Important:

  • You still have the right to choose a course different from the one recommended
  • You will need to sign an acknowledgment if you make a different choice
  • Never let someone else complete this screening for you

Step 2: Placement Assessment for 2026

After the career guidance, you must complete the Placement Assessment. This includes tests on spelling, word choice, literacy, numeracy, and course preferences.

  2. Complete the full set of assessments (you will get reminders if any are left incomplete)

  • This is not a pass or fail test
  • It helps the College place you in a programme where you can succeed

Step 3: Complete the 2026 Online Application

Once the assessments are done, proceed to the Online Application Form.

  1. Fill in all your personal and academic details
  2. Upload the following certified documents in PDF format:
    • South African ID document (5 certified copies)
    • Latest school results (2 certified copies)
    • Proof of residence in your name (2 certified copies)
    • Parent/Guardian ID copies (2 certified copies each)
    • Proof of income (Salary slips or affidavits)
    • Marriage certificate, death certificates, or divorce decree (if applicable)
  3. Click “Submit” after uploading all documents
  4. You will receive an email or SMS with updates on your application

Important:

  • Do not upload scanned or emailed documents
  • Only original, clear, certified documents will be accepted
  • Certification must not be older than 6 months

Final Registration Process for 2026

Only successful applicants will be contacted via SMS or email to register in person at their allocated campus.
You will be assigned a specific date. If you miss that date, you will be moved to the waiting list.
