Let me educate you a bit about the South African Colleges which will be funded by NSFAS in 2027.

Firstly, all TVET Colleges in South Africa, are funded by NSFAS. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) funds all South African public colleges, as well as universities.

Secondly, you will not be funded by NSFAS if you choose to study at a private college in South Africa. This is because, private colleges are not designed to accommodate students from diverse background. They are designed to offer specialised courses at a high fee.

Private colleges in South Africa, make their profits from students’ tuition fees, while public colleges (TVET Colleges) are funded by the government so that they can have the capacity to be totally inclusive and affordable to less privileged learners.

So now you know that a list of NSFAS funded colleges is also a list of all public colleges in South Africa in a nutshell.
