Sol Plaatje University Online Application 2026 Requirements

Requirement 1: SPU offers all its courses in English, and not Afrikaans. Therefore, you are required to know how to communicate and hear the english language. SPU requires that students whould have:

  • Grade 12 English Home Language (HL) Level 4, or
  • Grade 12 English First Additional Language (FAL) Level 5. English SAL is not accepted.

Apart from that, SPU also require the general requirements, which are:

  • Identification Document (ID): A certified copy of your South African ID or passport
  • National Senior Certificate (NSC): A certified copy of your final Grade 12 results
  • Minimum APS score of 25: SPU courses are all from 25 APS score and above
